Frank Lowe 1 of 2 January 07, 07
Got turned on to Frank Lowe first through reading Val Wilmer's book 'As Serious As Your Life', then in 'Avant-garde Jazz Musicians' by David Such. Like Clifford Thornton and Horace Tapscott and, more recently, Malachi Thompson a powerful voice seldom appearing on the radar of this country's music scene. I am glad that he has been remembered on this website. We are all better for the music Frank and others like him dedicated their lives too. Peace.
