rrrtIBOZrXuN 1 of 1 YFmsQGrxdniaV September 05, 12 the mulch is there mostly to keep the roots cool and moist, which is (apparently) how they like it. my bet is that your beans roettd b/c it was just too cold for them to germinate well. i replanted my rattlesnakes march 11 and they are already up and happy on march 14.
