Vinnie Burke (real name Vincent Bucci) played bass with Joe Mooney, Tony Scott, Tal Farlow, Don Elliott, Vic Dickenson, Bucky Pizzarelli and Bobby Hackett, among others. He led his own bands from the mid-50s onward, and recorded a number of albums as leader, as well as many sessions as a sideman.
