Kenny Gardner was the smooth tenor vocalist in the popular jazz-inflected dance band led by Guy Lombardo. Gardner was the featured singer in the band, Guy Lombardo and His Royal Canadians, from 1940-78, and was known for his theatrical antics in dramatising certain songs. He died of a heart attack.
