the JJA's panel discussion series, Jazz Matters, resumes on Wednesdsay, Oct. 
22, 6 to 8 p.m. with "The Blues -- What Does Scorsese Know, and What's Next," 
moderated by blues columnist Don Palmer (Jazziz), featuring  trumpeter Olu 
Dara, broadcaster-record producer Bob Porter, World Music Institute curator 
Robert Browning, musicians Bill Sims and Brian Mitchell, Sweet Rhythm booker James 
Browne, and others. 

Admission free, at the New School Jazz and Contemporary Music performance 
space, 5th floor, 55 W. 13th St., NYC. A CDR of the discussion will be made
