Hi all -- the polls at www.Jazzhouse.org close at midnight tonight, May 1, so 
if you're going to vote in the 10th annual JJA Jazz Awards, please go there 
NOW, click on finalists ballot, view the photos submitted for photo of the 
year, then click on the bubbles in front of your choices and when you've made sure 
you've voted for your choices among the 200-some nominees in 40 categories, 
hit submit. Your ballot will count, big time. 

Don't forget to visit www.JazzJournalistsAssociation.com for info on the "A 
Team" members, to hear sound clips of nominees, see the photos from last year's 
Awards at B.B. King's, and make your reservations for this year's (Monday, 
June 19, 4 to 7 p.m.) also at B.B.'s, 237 W. 42nd St., NYC. Tickets for members 
(includes dinner and performances) are $75, and members can buy up to 6 at 
that price. There will also be a JJA members' meeting two days later, June 21, I 
hope at the New School Jazz performance space -- more on that when the 
location is confirmed.
