The Second "Jazz Matters" of the spring season: JJA president Howard  
Mandel hosts "All-Stars' Best Video Clips!", a selection of classic  
performances of legends of American music at rare career peaks.  
Starting with Louis Armstrong singing and playing "Dinah" circa 1931  
and including iconic footage of Ella Fitzgerald, Charlie Parker with  
Dizzy Gillespie, Nat King Cole's trio ("Route 66"), Billie Holiday  
("Now or Never" plus "Fine and Mellow" from "The Sound of Jazz" with  
Ben Webster, Lester Young, Coleman Hawkins, Trummy Young, Gerry  
Mulligan, Roy Eldridge), Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane Quartet,  
James Brown (circa 1963), a young Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Jimi  
Hendrix (Woodstock) and Miles Davis, among others.
