2007 Jazz Journalists Association Jazz AwardsSM
Finalists Ballot

Dear JJA colleagues -

More than 200 jazz musicians, albums, record companies, producer/ 
presenters, jazz journals and journalists have been nominated as  
finalists in the 2007 Jazz Journalists Association Jazz Awards, and  
second round-voting  in 41 categories recognizing excellence in music  
creation, production, presentation and music journalism, begins at  
noon on Wednesday, May 23, 2007. The polling booth at  
www.Jazzhouse.org (follow links on the home page) will be available  
for viewing  "photo of the year" submissions, and for professional  
members of the Jazz Journalists Associatiomembers only to cast one  
ballot each with votes across all categories, until noon, June 4.

Winners of the 2007 JJA Jazz Awards will be announced at an event in  
mid June in New York City, details to follow at www.Jazzhouse.org and  
via e-mail. Plans are also in the works to hold West Coast JJA Jazz  
Awards parties in midsummer.
