AS GENERAL MANAGER

Beverly Hills, CA-September 15, 2003-Concord Records, one of the largest independent record labels in the United States, today announced that it has hired Gene Rumsey as its new General Manager. Rumsey, a 20-year music industry veteran, will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the burgeoning record company and its family of imprints. Over the last 12-months alone, Concord Records has added a number of exciting new artists to its roster, including the genre-defining Ozomatli, Jazz wunderkind Peter Cincotti, the avant-garde Dapp Theory, and the legendary Ray Charles.

Rumsey was ultimately responsible for a 200-person-strong sales & marketing team and was instrumental in developing many of EMI's innovative policies and strategies, as well as maintaining strong relationships with all major music retailers.
