“a young singer with great dynamic feeling and a pitch perfect dark contralto
voice" wrote John Craddock, Jazz Journal International.
Now some of NYC's top vocalists come to share their songs,
trade tips and try out new material. The same musicians who
on other nights can be seen backing up the stars at the Blue Note,

Presented jointly with the New York Chapter of the Jazz Vocal Coalition, a national organization dedicated to education and professional enrichment, this is THE destination for vocalists.
Come sit in, or just listen up to this New Vanguard. And best of all enjoy the intoxicating mélange of spices coming from Chef George Slade Jr.’s kitchen to get you totally prepared to enter another dimension! See you here!
