Miles Monday

What: Miles Monday, a listening series devoted to the music of Miles  
Davis.

When: Every Monday, 6-9 pm

Where: Mo Pitkin’s House of Satisfaction, 34 Avenue A (between East  
2nd and East 3rd Streets) in the East Village, NYC.

Miles Monday is a unique listening series devoted to the music of  
Miles Davis. The series runs in a brand new venue: Mo Pitkin’s House  
of Satisfaction, a bi-level bar/restaurant/performance space at 34  
Avenue A (between East 2nd and East 3rd Streets) in the East Village  
of Manhattan.

Tonight, Monday, October 17 will feature guest DJ Enrico Merlin  
visiting from Italy. Enrico will be playing some Nefertiti studio  
outtakes … and some other jewels from his collection. Enrico is a  
guitarist, composer as well as noted Miles discographer. His  
examination of Miles’ music is among the most important in the Miles  
scholarship of the last decade.

This week, we also welcome another special guest, Bob Belden, one of  
the producers of Columbia/Legacy’s reissue series of the Davis catalog.
