[members-announce] Ernie Andrews just added to WBGO's Champions of Jazz Benefit

Los Angeles based vocalist, Ernie Andrews, has recently been added to
the stellar lineup on November 3rd at Rose Theater for WBGO's Champions
of Jazz Benefit.  The benefit has a two fold purpose: raise funds to
help WBGO keep the flame of classic jazz music alive - and pay tribute
to individuals and organizations for their contributions the future of
jazz.  This year, WBGO will be honoring two true Champions of Jazz,
nine-time Grammy-Award winner and NEA Jazz Master, Paquito D'Rivera, and
the venerable jazz industry authority, DownBeat Magazine, celebrating
its 75th anniversary. The 20-piece Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra will
headline the concert and be joined on stage by Freddy Cole, Stefon
Harris, and 15-year-old Canadian singing sensation, Nikki Yanofsky, as
well as Ernie Andrews.

 

Tickets range in price from $30 to $95, and are available through the
Jazz at Lincoln Center Box Office, Broadway at 60th Street, ground
floor, New York, NY or by calling CenterCharge at 212.721.6500.
Sponsorship tickets are also available and include a cocktail reception
and after party with the performers, depending on sponsorship level.
