Here is the great Eartha Kitt at 78 receiving her PURRfect standing ovation at opening night, Friday, August 12 at the 2005 JVC Jazz Festival-Newport. Eartha belted "I'm Still Here," the fog rolled in and lighting designer extraordinaire Len Schnabel spewed pink and purple lights over the elegant songstress and the crowd.

This is a shot taken at HMV in Toronto in celebration of Oscar Peterson's 80th. Diana Krall played for Oscar a lovely redition of one of his own compositions. It was a tender moment. She was near tears. You can see the commemorative stamp issued in his presense in background poster.
